Double Celebration Durban Helicopter Proposal

When Yolan contacted us to arrange a surprise marriage proposal for his girlfriend, we knew that using her birthday celebration as an excuse for a helicopter excursion would be the perfect idea.  The weather on the day was perfect for them!

Our florist had put together the most beautiful bouquet of her favorite flowers in the exact colours that she liked and the ring was safely tucked away out of sight.  The picnic decor and food had been packed into the helicopter ready to be set up on the mountain top so everything was ready for our couple’s big day.  As they prepared for take-off, everyone wished her a very happy birthday so she firmly believed that this was her birthday celebration.  We just love the surprise element of a proposal!

Once they landed, the couple went off for a walk to take in the beautiful scenic view while the pilot and photographer prepared everything for them.  Yolan went down on bended knee and popped the question and Celina said a most definite YES!

Yes to a lifetime of happiness together with an exquisite diamond on her left hand. After a fun-filled photoshoot against a fabulous backdrop provided by Mother Nature, our newly engaged couple enjoyed a delicious picnic before flying back to break their news to their family and friends.

We loved organising this special proposal and being part of the double celebration. We wish them all the very best for the future.
