Deon and Nolene intimate family wedding

One of our lovely past proposal couples, Deon and Nolene, asked us to please plan their intimate wedding celebration for them after their romantic wine cellar proposal in Pretoria. They wanted 20 of their nearest and dearest to celebrate this occasion with them. We sent them a few beautiful outdoor venues to choose from and they settled on the gorgeous Buitengeluk venue in Dainfern, Johannesburg for the celebration.

We organised a legal ceremony for them and their two witnesses which was special and personal. They then had also planned their own spiritual ceremony for just the two of them that same day. A few days later, Nolene and her 4-year-old daughter, Riley, got their hair and make-up done and the three of them had a beautiful photo shoot in the forest to suit their Woodlands theme. Riley loved the camera and the photos turned out wonderfully.

They arrived at Buitengeluk for their celebratory wedding lunch in the Greenhouse. The Greenhouse has floor to ceiling glass window and therefore the most magnificent light. We decorated it with giant white helium balloons, ivy, rose gold accessories and flowers to match Nolene’s bouquet. Riley looked so cute as their little flower girl as they arrived – she had been practising lots! Nolene and Riley had matching flower crowns and Nolene had purple streaks in her hair to match her exquisite dress.

They then enjoyed a wonderful three-course meal with their guests and celebrated all evening. They truly enjoyed every second of their wedding day and they were very appreciative of how beautifully the venue turned out and how smoothly all the various suppliers ran on the day. Deon and Nolene intimate family wedding was so special. We wish them the best of luck on their new journey together as husband and wife.
