Chadwick and Kristelle Blog Post

On Tuesday the 16th of April 2019, Chadwick proposed to his girlfriend Kristelle, and she said yes!

Chadwick and Kristelle live in the Philippines and decided to come to South Africa on holiday with Chadwick’s parents. They met through mutual friends and have been together for a year and eight months. They both love running, sharing meals and just spending time together. They enjoy travelling and would like to visit North Korea together one day.

This special couple was only going to be in Cape Town for a few days so Chadwick contacted us to help him set up an unforgettable proposal for his girlfriend. He wanted his parents to be involved in the proposal as well. We decided that the 12 Apostles Hotel would be the perfect spot for his proposal as he wanted a scenic spot on the mountain for their special day.

On the day, we set up a fun ‘Marry Me’ sign next to their picnic spot with some matching red balloons. We also organised a photographer and videographer to capture the moment. Chadwick told Kristelle that they were going on a tour in the mountains from the 12 Apostles Hotel so that she wouldn’t suspect anything on the day. We fetched them from the hotel lobby and walked up to the mountain to their picnic spot together. As we walked closer to the picnic spot, Kristelle caught a glimpse of the ‘Marry Me’ sign and was so surprised! Chadwick had managed to keep this big surprise from her for months! He got down on one knee and asked her to marry him.

Chadwick and Kristelle perfect proposal was so much fun! A lovely proposal with a really special couple. We wish them all the love and happiness in their future together.
