Carla and Shane balloon proposal

On the 24th of July 2021, Shane and Carla got engaged! They have been together for 8 years so the time was right to pop the question.

We are so excited to share this lovely proposal. When we asked Shane what he wanted as a “perfect proposal” this was his response:

“The perfect proposal would be one that Carla does not expect. We have been together so long that I would like to surprise her. To be honest, a day with some adventure, relaxation and then a surprise sounds exactly what I could hope for. I am not sure what the “perfect proposal” would look like, but as long as it has those three elements it would be perfect: Adventure/relax/surprise”

After sending some ideas though, Shane booked the 12 Apostles hotel. He booked a room to stay for one night. As it being winter, we wanted to keep it indoors as she quickly gets cold. We discussed the decor and finalised the idea. She loves the colour white and orchids so we made sure this was incorporated in their proposal.

We arrived at the hotel and we just filled the room with balloons at all different levels. It looks fantastic and creates an element of surprise. Carla just thought she was “checking in” to the hotel, little did she know what was about to happen. They walked into their room and Shane led her to the lounge for the proposal. He got down on one knee and asked for her hand in marriage, she said yes.

They were such a divine couple to work with, we loved assisting them on their big day. The happiness and love on the day was overwhelming, just perfect for each other.
