Callie and Brandon perfect proposal

On the 7th of August 2022, Callie and Brandon popped the question.

Brandon contacted us a while ago to chat about some ideas, then it took a few months of planning to come to finalising a date and venue. He knew he wanted something fabulous, that was breathtaking and romantic.

Brandon initially wanted an inside venue, so we tried a few inside rooftop venues and then opted to book a room. He was worried about the weather as she gets cold easily. (such a sweetheart). We booked the cellars Hohenort in Constantia, they have a few event rooms that would work well. It just so happens that on the day, Cape Town was showing off, it was a warm sunny winter’s day. We just love when the weather plays along thus we decided it has to be outside so they can enjoy the gardens.

We used the palm arch and placed the marquee letters that spelt “marry me” on the lawns. We also added in some of her favourite flowers and a box of chocolates, a little gift from us. We also got a musician to play their favourite song while he proposed. This was a secret that was only shared on the day, Vicci plays the guitar so beautifully and wanted to showcase her work. On their arrival, Callie and her mum and sister joined as they thought they were just going to a family dinner. As Callie turned the corner, with Brandon holding her hand, she was breathless and SO excited. The letters shone, the music played and he popped the question. They celebrated with bubbly, photos, hugs and kisses.
