Arzelle and Stephen Wedding day

On the 1st July 2017, Arzelle and Stephen got married!

We were honoured to assist them with planning their perfect wedding. The chosen venue was Vondeling wine farm near Wellington. It was a smaller wedding of 51 people. An intimate winter celebration with family and friends.

We assisted Arzelle with the on-the-day planning. She was so organised from the beginning that is was a pleasure to work with her. As it was a winter wedding Arzelle created a cosy atmosphere for her guests. There were board games to play throughout the wedding, for example, snakes & ladders, Pictionary etc. She had jars filled with biscuits to snack on and marshmallows to roast in the fire. Blankets & heaters to keep guests warm. A lovely coffee stand that served coffees all night, that was a HUGE success.

The bridal party got dressed at the manor house across the road from the venue. A lovely old house that has lots of history. Arzelle arrived in an old citron as a grand entrance.

The ceremony was held in the chapel on Vondeling property. She arranged an organ to play and friends to sing. After the ceremony guests said congrats on the lawns. The pre-drinks was held under the veranda and flowed onto the lawns. There was a string quartet playing while guests mingled, drank coffee and played games.

The reception was held at the wine tasting room. A lovely venue for a smaller wedding with the dance floor outside. Coral did an amazing job with the flowers and decorations. Lots of flowers were used with rose gold & greenery. Naked bulbs and greenery hung from the roof for a warming effect.

The food was done by Frikkie, it was delicious! Arzelle arranged each guest a choice of food, ranging from Bobotie, Impala Potjie or chicken. The guests thoroughly enjoyed the speeches and 3-course dinner.

After all the formalities were done, the dance floor opened and the party began. The venue closed at midnight and it was time to say goodbye.

Arzelle and Stephen Wedding day was magical. We would like to wish this happy couple all the best for the future. They were a pleasure to work with and we loved being part of their special day.
