Andrew and Chayla wine farm proposal

On the 4th June 2021, Andrew popped the question to the love of his life.

Andrew and Chayla are from Boksburg, and it was their last time traveling in South Africa, as they are immigrating overseas. They have been together for wonderful 8 years, so it was the right time, before they move, to pop the question.

Andrew called us to assist him with the ‘perfect proposal.’ He asked to book a wine farm and maybe a helicopter, something private with stunning views. The venue needed to represent CAPE TOWN and all its beauty. Cape Town is such a beautiful place so the options are endless. We know and love Klein Constantia which is a smaller farm situated in the Constantia valley. They have a lovely wine deck at the top of the farm which is super for this kind of function. We planned and booked the day’s events for this lovely couple.

The plan was a helicopter flight to Klein Constantia, on landing they were collected in a 4×4 which takes them on a short drive up the mountain. You go past vineyards and a dam on the way, it is beautiful. On arrival at the private deck, they hop out of the vehicle and walk down some stairs to see the setup. Andrew wanted a “marry me” sign, bubbly and flowers. Our photographer actually joined them from the start to capture all these events on film.

Andrew asked the woman of his dreams to marry him, she said YES! There were hugs, tears of joy, and lots of kisses! After the couple’s shoot, they headed down the mountain to have lunch at the Bistro.
