Wedding of Arthur and Rutendo

On the 24th August 2019, Arthur and Rutendo said I DO!

We assisted this wonderful couple with their proposal which can be viewed on our blog. After being engaged for a few months they decided a small wedding celebration was in order. They first got in touch to assist them in finding a wedding venue that met their brief. The venue needed to be in Constantia, with a private area for a dinner of 24 guests. After sending some options through, The Cellars Hohenort was chosen.

The guests list extended to their closest family and friends which created a very special intimate wedding. They got married at St Michael’s Church in Rondebosch, followed by drinks on the lawns then dinner at the venue. A private venue was booked thus thy had lots of speeches throughout the evening.

They have very talented friends who offered to play some live music on the night. A wonderful gift to the couple, as they sang and played all evening.

Jilda, we booked as the photographer to capture their wedding. As you can see, she did a wonderful job of capturing their special moments.

The couple’s brief for decor & flowers was keeping it simple with fresh flowers and lots of candles. The colours scheme being blush pink and gold. Coral created a magical floral array on one long table. It looked stunning! As the sunset, the candles were lit and the wedding party enjoyed a 3-course dinner.

The wedding cake was made by Wade which are always delicious. The cake comprised of two tiers, one layer being Poppyseed and the other chocolate. Guests could enjoy the cake later on in the evening.

The Wedding of Arthur and Rutendo was magical, wishing this wonderful couple a happy future together. We hope to plan the next exciting “event” in your life.
