On the 31st August 2017, Harry asked Natasha to be his wife.
This very special couple meet about 3 years ago at the gym. Harry wanted the most romantic proposal that was on offer. The lovely Munro Boutique Hotel was the chosen venue. Harry wanted romance, amazing views and privacy. This venue offered all of those aspects and more. The views from the hotel overlook the whole of Joburg. At night you can see millions of glowing lights which are just so magical as you are so high up.
Harry asked us to set-up hundreds of roses, blue moon in particular as it is Natasha’s favourite. He wanted to use red to show how much he loves her! Thus we mixed purple and red roses on the day which came out beautifully.
We added in red rose petals, candles and fairy lights for that extra ambience. As it is such a magnificent hotel there are so many lovely spots to choose from. A lovely bridge walkway was the decided on and decorated. We hung up pictures, we added in frames and brought out the bubbly. We also decorated their presidential suite where they were staying that night.
Harry had told Natasha they were meeting friends for drinks. She arrived and was confused why her friends wanted to meet so early. Little did she know that Harry was about to pop the question. They walked to the bridge where the set-up was and he took her hand, “will you marry me?” She said YES!
The photographer captured the proposal on film from her hiding place above. It was a very special moment as they hugged and laughed in joy. After a few photo’s and some bubbly, they made their way into the room for dinner. A table was placed upstairs on the balcony where they could enjoy the views all night.
Harry and Natasha romantic marriage proposal at the Munro hotel will not be forgotten. Wishing all the best for a happy future together. We loved doing the set-up for such a romantic occasion.
