Some love stories deserve more than a simple question over dinner. They deserve a moment that feels completely unexpected, beautifully personal and unforgettable, and this surprise marriage proposal was designed to do exactly that.

The couple arrived at the airport expecting an exciting helicopter experience, but Merushka had no idea that her day was about to become the beginning of an entirely new chapter.

As the helicopter lifted off, they were treated to a spectacular scenic flight, taking in the beauty of the landscape from above. Their destination was a tranquil game farm, where we had carefully arranged a very special welcome. As the helicopter began its descent, the couple looked down towards the ground below. And there, laid out for them in enormous letters, was the question that would change everything:

“WILL YOU MARRY ME?”

As the helicopter came in to land, the surprise became clear. Sumanth had planned the moment he had been waiting for, and with the incredible landscape as their backdrop, he got down on one knee and asked her to marry him.

She said yes!

What followed was a morning filled with celebration, beautiful scenery, and memories that would remain forever.

After the proposal, the newly engaged couple enjoyed a professional engagement photoshoot, capturing the excitement of those first precious moments as an engaged couple. From the wide-open landscapes to the intimate details of the proposal, every photograph became part of the next chapter in their story.

Then came another surprise, a beautifully prepared brunch overlooking the water. A table had been thoughtfully set up on a lakeside jetty, creating the perfect private setting to relax, celebrate, and raise a glass to their future together as they absorbed the beginning of this exciting new season for them.

The adventure continued with a game drive across the reserve. Surrounded by nature and wildlife, they were able to experience the beauty of the game farm together before eventually making their way back to the helicopter.

As they flew home, they carried something very special; they were returning as an engaged couple.

From the moment they arrived at the airport to the helicopter flight, the surprise proposal, the photoshoot, their lakeside brunch and game drive, every element had been carefully planned to create a seamless and unforgettable experience.
