Wesley and Gugu perfect proposal

On the 20th of March 2023, Wesley and Gugu got engaged!

Wesley described his perfect proposal to be somewhere with the ocean in the background, and that is to be a romantic ad private setting – there was no better spot than the Fynbos Gazebo at the  Twelve Apostles Hotel. Wesley specially requested that a saxophonist is at the setup to play ‘Gugu’ by Soul Culture – the perfect song choice for Gugu! We were told that Gugu loved pink, and so of course we chose the decor accordingly. The Gazebo was draped, and we created a causal picnic-style set up under the gazebo, which gave it an even more intimate and romantic feel.

This lovely couple both work in the medical field, and are from the UK. They planned a trip to South Africa, and Wesley disguised the proposal by booking a couples massage at the Twelve Apostles Hotel. Little did Gugu know what was in store for her after the massage! As they were escorted down the trail from the Spa, and turned the corner, Gugu could see the ‘Marry Me’ sign, her favourite song started to play, and Wesley popped the question!

She said YES! Wesley and Gugu perfect proposal was stunning. It truly was a PERFECT PROPOSAL! We wish them all the best on this very happy journey together, and we loved being a part of this special occasion!
