On the 16th February 2019, Wendall asked the girl of his dreams to marry him, she said YES!

Wendell first contacted us in December last year knowing exactly what he wanted – a romantic proposal at The Oyster Box! We love it when our clients give us ample warning of their plans and he chose a date in February for the big event. February is the month of love, so we had to think of something very special for this delightful couple.

Wendell got his girlfriend to the Oyster Box under the pretext of them having a wonderful and relaxing dinner at this beautiful venue. Posing as staff of this iconic establishment, we were ready to receive them at reception as they arrived and escorted them to the Lighthouse Bar for pre-dinner drinks “as their table wasn’t ready”… After Wendell excused himself, we went in and told Kerissa that the table was now, in fact, ready and asked her to follow us – promising that Wendell would be brought through by a waiter. When Kerissa made her way down the candlelit and rose petal strewn staircase to the intimate and exquisitely decorated wine cellar, Wendell was there waiting for her, on bended knee with a gorgeous engagement ring! SHE SAID YES!!

After an emotional proposal, they explored the manicured grounds of the Oyster Box for a couples photoshoot before enjoying a romantic candlelit and an absolutely delectable 4-course dinner in their own private dining room draped with fairy lights and rose petals under a glass ceiling – this is what princesses dreams are made of!

Wendell and Kerissa Oyster Box proposal was breathtaking – It was an absolute pleasure planning such a special evening for this beautiful couple and we wish them all the very best for their future together.
