On the 25th June 2016 Wayne and Sandra got engaged in Jacobsbaai.
Jacobsbaai is situated on the West coast, about 1,5 hours from Cape Town. Its a small fishing village with the most amazing ocean views. Jacobsbaai is a very meaningful place for them as they go there every year with family. It is also the place where they had their first date. They have been together for 2 years and 9 months, it was time to pop the question.
Wayne wanted to include Sandra’s favorite flower, sunflowers into the proposal. He also wanted pictures of happy memories. He says “pictures paint a thousand words”. We planned the set-up on the main beach in Jacobsbaai, the weather was amazing, a sunny and wind-free winters day.
Wayne asked us if we knew of any different ring boxes that could be used for his marriage proposal. We were very excited to order a personalized ring box from Janet ceramics. Wayne gave us the diamond ring on the day to place inside the ring box. Sandra can keep this box to remember her engagement forever.
Wayne and Sandra arrived on the beach, they walked over the dunes to the set-up. Sunflowers, pictures, yellow rose petals and a bottle of bubbly all added to the magic. Wayne told Sandra to open to the white ring box and inside was a beautiful diamond ring. She said YES! The photographer captured it all on film.
A special mention to Source caterers for the most amazing precooked dinner that they created for Wayne and Sandra. It was a meal fit for a king and queen. They enjoyed this meal for dinner that night at the B&B. We filled the table with more flowers and candles.
Wayne and Sandra Jacobsbaai marriage proposal was very special. We wish this happy couple all the best. We loved meeting them in person on the day and sharing their excitement. Happy wedding planning!Photo’s by Jilda G.
