The golden glow of dawn crept over the horizon, bathing a secluded beach in warm, gentle light. This wasn’t just any sunrise though, it was the start of a new beginning, a moment that would forever be etched in the hearts of Rinesh and Kajol. The scene was set: a beautiful private beach and a trail of vibrant roses meticulously arranged in the sand. And as the sun slowly rose, casting its magical glow, a surprise that had been months in the making was about to unfold.

This enchanting proposal began with a simple plan for an early morning walk by the ocean. Kajol didn’t know that months ago, her boyfriend had been in talks with us so that we could plan every last detail to make this a morning she’d never forget. After convincing her to join him on this “spur-of-the-moment” sunrise stroll, they arrived at dawn. The beach was deserted, offering a sense of intimacy and peace. She thought it was simply another beautiful morning, a private escape just for them. Little did she know, a very romantic surprise was awaiting her.

As they walked closer to the setup, the faint scent of roses filled the air, mixing with the salty breeze. Kajol’s breath caught as she realised that this was more than just an ordinary beach walk. Her heart pounded as Rinesh gently took her hand, leading her toward the pathway lined with roses. There, standing in the heart of the roses, he turned to her with a smile and got down on one knee.

A soft gasp escaped her lips as she brought her hand to her mouth, her eyes wide with surprise and emotion. The words Rinesh spoke were quiet yet powerful, filled with promises of forever, and a lifetime of shared dreams and adventures. With the sun now fully risen, casting a warm light over them, he asked the question that would change their lives. Tears glistened in her eyes as she nodded, her heart full of joy, and whispered, “Yes.” The morning sun danced in the sky, casting a radiant glow over them as they celebrated their first few minutes as a newly engaged couple.

Unbeknownst to her, a photographer had been capturing every tender, beautiful moment of the proposal, preserving the story of this incredible morning. The joy, the love, the surprise, every look, every touch, every laugh was immortalized in a series of breathtaking photographs that they would treasure forever.

This sunrise beach proposal was nothing short of magical, a moment orchestrated with thoughtfulness and love. It was a true testament to how a well-planned surprise, filled with the perfect blend of natural beauty, personal details, and a touch of elegance, can make for a memory that lasts a lifetime. And with each photo, they will always have a tangible reminder of the morning their journey together truly began.

Imagine this: a tranquil beach, the gentle whisper of waves caressing the shore, and the sky tinged with the first hues of dawn. This idyllic setting set the stage for one of the most memorable moments in Sameer and Kayla’s love story – a surprise marriage proposal at sunrise.

We had meticulously planned every detail. He knew Kayla adored the beach and a romantic proposal alongside the ocean would be perfect for them.

As the day approached, we made sure everything was ready. We had the ideal spot in mind, and we sent Sameer the final details, including where to park. There was to be a tastefully casual setup of blankets, a few cushions, and a bouquet of Kayla’s favorite flowers, their delicate fragrance mingling with the salty sea breeze.

On the morning of the proposal, as they walked hand in hand towards the set-up, the first light of dawn began to break, painting the sky in shades of pink and orange.
Reaching the designated spot, Kayla was taken aback by the sight before her. The setup looked like something out of a dream. Sameer went down on one knee and the rest is history – Kayla happily agreed to marry the love of her life.

As the sun slowly climbed higher, casting a golden glow over everything, our lovely couple had so much fun during their proposal and engagement photoshoot.
The beach, bathed in the golden light of the new day, seemed to echo their joy and promise.  Sameer’s surprise proposal was more than just a question, it was a beautifully crafted moment that symbolised the beginning of the next stage in their lifelong journey together. It was a testament to his love and dedication, and a memory they would cherish forever. As they walked hand in hand along the shore, their future stretched out before them, as endless and beautiful as the ocean itself.

Congratulations on your engagement Sameer & Kayla, we wish you all the best for the future.

Adrian knew he wanted a special sunrise beach proposal set up when he and his girlfriend, Alishka, would be on holiday in Durban. He knows her well, all her likes and dislikes so this made the planning process of the proposal a breeze.

We love a good romance story and theirs is truly one that warms the heart! They met in their first year of high school and have been friends since. The beautiful pictures that Adrian sent us to use as a “memory lane” in the setup are a testament to their journey. They have now been dating for 5 years and he felt that the time was right to ask her to be his wife and start the exciting process of wedding planning in earnest. He got down on one knee and presented Alishka with a little red ring box that held the most gorgeous engagement ring. Without any hesitation, she said YES!

Adrian and Alishka were certainly blessed with a perfect sunrise which made their photoshoot idyllic. Sunrise Beach proposals are always a good idea. It means you have the beach all to yourself, with no disturbances from other beachgoers. Sunrise is one of our favorite times of the day, peaceful, clam, and magical.

This lovely couple then relaxed and enjoyed the setting, taking in the view while absorbing this incredible moment together.

We wish you all the best for a wonderful future together Adrian and Alishka, congratulations on your engagement.

Pranesh wanted something romantic and intimate with STUNNING views. He liked the idea of using the sunset rock in Bantry Bay which is a superb choice of venues.

This hidden gem is at the top of Ocean View Drive, you wind your way up through the suburbs to find a dead end. At this point you walk on a path to find a few rocks, once here climb up on the rock, and will see the best views of Camps Bay, Bantry Bay, and Clifton beaches. When we were last there, the whales on the bay were incredible. These views just go on forever…

On the day, Kathryn our lovely photographer arrives first. The picnic items were set up, which included a breakfast picnic, a bottle of bubbly with glasses, and a blanket. All these items are for the couples to keep, this means they can stay and enjoy the picnic as long as they wish. Just one of our packages that work well if on a budget or you want extra time at the location.

Pranash and Keshika arrived and walked to the proposal spot, where he popped the question. This has to be one of the most awesome reactions we have seen. Keshika was so surprised, there was jumping and hugging, which was so special to see. After the photoshoot, they enjoyed a picnic together on the mountain.

Our lovely colleague, Jacqui who runs our Durban branch took over once Pranesh was back in Durban. She decorated their apartment for a surprise party with a couple of friends. They did a stunning job, the apartment was transformed into a romantic palace for Keshika.

Keshika and Pranesh proposal was so special. We wish this happy couple all the best for a happy future together.

On the 28th February 2021, Jacques popped the question and Tamerin said YES!

This lovely couple lives and works in Joburg. They have been together since high school, so that makes it 12 years of dating. WOW, can we say true love!

They came down to Cape Town for a magical getaway with some friends and Jacques took the opportunity to pop the question. He called us to assist plan the proposal as he was so busy with work and trying to keep things a secret. This is why we are called those “secret party planners”. He was looking for something breath-taking, but also fun. They both love the beach so much, so the venue was chosen.

In all our years of working in events, we know that beaches over the summer can be jam-packed, so we suggested a sunrise proposal. Jacques really wanted it private so this made the most sense. The beaches at sunrise are spectacular, the sun rises over the mountain and lights up the whole place.

We set up signboards that led down the beach to an end spot, the last sign said: “will you be my happily ever after?” We also used her favourite flowers on each pole to make it stand out.

On the day, this beautiful couple got up bright and early. Tamerin was told that she needed to get dressed as they were attending one of his work meetings. She had no idea that she was actually going to the beach for her engagement. They walked down and took a stroll past the boards to the last one, then Jacques proposed. Bronwyn, our lovely photographer captured the moment on film. SHE SAID YES!

After many celebrations, popping of bubbly and the couples shoot, they went for a brunch in Camps Bay.

Jacques and Tamerin sunrise proposal was so much fun. We wish this wonderful couple all the best for their future together.
