On the 24th April 2014 Scott and Caroline got engaged.The most amazing proposal in Stellenbosch.

What a perfect day is was here in the Cape. Scott and Caroline were staying in Hermanus on holiday from Joburg. He wanted to surprise her while on their trip, as they were staying with friends we needed to lure her away without being suspicious. Scott had made up a story about collecting wine in Stellenbosch from a farm.

On the big day we sent them to Waterford for a wine tasting to start the morning. After this they made their way to Brenaissance wine & stud farm for the proposal. Scott and Caroline arrived and were shown to the river deck where everything was set up for them. On arrival she was VERY surprised as she just thought they were collecting wine and heading back. The deck was set-up with a picnic styled lunch for two and a bottle of bubbly. Her favorite flowers are white tulips and she loves chuckles (chocolates). We included all her favorite things into the day! Scott popped the question and she said yes! Caroline was very happy about the exciting news and some tears of excitement were shed. Lesley, our photographer was capturing the whole moment on camera. A proposal in Stellenbosch fit for a queen. They enjoyed the whole afternoon drinking, eating and relaxing next to the river. They then stayed the night in one of Brenaissance luxury suites. We had decorated it for them as another surprise for Caroline. What a lovely surprise to receive on a holiday!
