Nico and Kia pretty pink proposal

On the 9th January 2018, Nico asked the girl of his dreams to marry him, she said YES!

Nico booked a night at the 12 Apostles Hotel and this was the chosen venue for his marriage proposal. He wanted to add that personal feeling so got us on board to help with set-up and supplying deco. This lovely young couple has been together for 3 years and counting. They both live in Polokwane and came to Cape Town for a holiday.

We asked them what they both enjoy and Nico told us wining & dining, along with travelling. So this was Nico’s chance to impress Kia-Rayne. A picnic was booked and set-up in the Fynbos garden. We hung bunting flags and filled the area with rose petals. We used soft pinks as this is Kia-Rayne’s favourite colour. Everything looked pretty in pink! The wind was quite strong on the mountain so this is why the garden was chosen, we were hoping the wind would die down but it was risky.

On the day, Nico and Kia arrived looking very smart. We led them to the Fynbos garden, while they held hands. Nico was not wasting any time and popped the question at the picnic spot. Heathyr, the photographer captured the magic moment. They managed to take some photos on Stanley’s rock as Kia-Rayne dream came true. Kia’s engagement ring is worth a mention, it was stunning!

We just loved meeting this fun young couple. Nico and Kia pretty pink proposal was perfect. Wishing them all the best for the future. Happy wedding planning 🙂
