Misty mountain proposal
On the 4th of October 2022, Jean asked the love of his life to marry him, and she said yes!
This fabulous couple was visiting their family in Cape town, and he knew, without hesitation that Table Mountain was the chosen spot to pop the question. We were a little concerned about the weather, as the mountain was covered in the famous ‘tablecloth’ cloud, but the cable cars were still running, so off they went, ascending into the mountain mist.
Soon after they reached the top, Jean found a secluded section away from the surrounding tourists, and he dropped to his knee. As if it was all part of the great plan, the low-lying clouds below cleared to reveal the ocean and city below – it was truly a foggy fairytale proposal!
After a few couple photographs, the rest of the family appeared to join in the celebrations! They popped a very appropriately named bottle of MCC, named ‘The Ring’ and enjoyed the rest of the magical morning on the mountain!
