On the 29th April 2017, Lucien asked Derusha to marry him!

They were coming to Durban to visit family for the long weekend. He knew that over this time he wanted to pop the question. They had been together for 6 long years and that weekend he had told her they were going to celebrate their anniversary. She would not be suspicious nor suspect he was going to ask that very important question.

They both love the outdoors, romance and picnics. Taking all this into account we arranged the proposal at Makaranga gardens in Kloof. This special location has the most beautiful gardens. A huge variety of flowers and areas that are suitable for picnics. It was the perfect place for a “perfect proposal”.

On arrival, they walked to the picnic spot that had been set-up by us. Hayley, our photographer was hiding in the bushes to capture the moment. Lucien asked the love of his life to marry him, she said YES!

After they had finished their picnic, we booked them in for a spa treatment on the property. A couples massage to relax and unwind before telling family and friends the exciting news.

We wish this lovely couple a very long and happy life together. Lucien and Derusha magical garden proposal was very special.
