On Friday the 18th of January 2019, Ibrahim and his girlfriend Andrea got engaged at the beautiful La Residence Hotel in Franschhoek.

This special couple met at work and have been dating for five years. They love going to the beach, going for long drives along the coast and eating out at great restaurants together.

After reviewing the options we sent him for his special day, Ibrahim decided he wanted to go with the beautiful La Residence Hotel. He just wanted a simple set up, just some petals and champagne for the two of them, followed by a delicious dinner. He had initially asked that we set up in the tea house in the garden, however, the weather was chilly on the day and too windy to sit outside, so we moved the set up to the library area upstairs in the lodge. We opened the doors up and set up the champagne and glasses on a small table on the balcony, overlooking the breath-taking views over Franschhoek. We arranged the white rose petals in the shape of a heart before the door so they could see it as they came up the stairs into the library.

Ibrahim and Andrea arrived at the lodge and were offered a ‘tour’ of the hotel before dinner. As they walked up the stairs into the library, Ibrahim couldn’t wait until he got to the top of the stairs and started proposing already! He said he had had the ring made for Andrea three years ago as he already knew then that he wanted to marry her. Of course, she said yes!

Ibrahim and Andrea proposal at La Residence was beautiful. We absolutely loved planning their proposal and wish them all the happiness together in their future.
