Arthur and Rutendo perfect proposal

On the 11^th November 2018, Arthur asked his girlfriend Rutendo to marry him. She said YES!

The couple is originally from Zimbabwe but now live in Cape Town. This lovely couple met through Rutendo’s older sister and have been together for 10 months. They both like the outdoors, hiking and eating out.

Arthur contacted us asking for assistance with setting up the perfect proposal. He wanted something outdoors, memorable and wanted to capture Rutendo’s reaction in the photos. Arthur also wanted to have lots of elements of surprise on the day.

He loved the venue, Cape Point Vineyards as it ticked all the boxes. This venue has beautiful views of Noordhoek beach, mountains, as well as the vineyards. We used the hidden deck that is completely private and nestled away amongst the vineyards. Our team set the scene and decorated the deck with bunting, pretty cushions and picnic blankets.

Rutendo loves sunflowers and the guitar, so we organized for Chris Werge to sing and play the guitar. Arthur and Rutendo arrived and we took them up to the top vineyards. Arthur led the way and took Rutendo up to the deck. When they arrived at the deck, Chris was singing Bruno Mars ‘Marry you’ as Arthur got down on one knee to pop the question. As the couple celebrated and enjoyed a glass of bubbly, Chris sang John Legend ‘All of me’.

The weather was amazing and they enjoyed a delicious picnic and celebrated with a bottle of bubbly.
