On the 2nd February 2019, Vishnu asked Sangeetha to marry him and she said YES!
Vishnu first contacted us in early January from Vietnam where he is working. He was coming home to South Africa in February and he wanted to propose to his long-term girlfriend, Sangeetha, in a garden setting with a photographer.
We sent Vishnu a few different ideas for our garden proposals and he loved the Fairlawns Boutique Hotel & Spa as they have a great Urban Escape accommodation special. Plans were underway and Vishnu didn’t have to organise anything (we did it all) as we know how hard it is when you are out of the country – this really helped Vishnu’s nerves and put him at ease.
Rain was forecast for the day but the weather was perfect – cool and cloudy. They arrived under the pretences that they were meeting Sangeetha’s sister there for dinner (her sister was actually in Cape Town). We led them to their table which was outside in the private gazebo. It was decorated with curtain fairy lights, red roses, a chandelier, a beautiful candelabra and rose petals. Sangeetha saw the table and knew something was up and when she turned around Vishnu was on one knee! She was very surprised and overjoyed!
They then enjoyed a photo shoot with their photographer, Leandrie, as Vishnu wanted a professional picture for their Save The Date. Dinner was served in the gazebo and then Vishnu surprised Sangeetha with the overnight stay in their luxurious villa suite that we had decorated with rose petals. Sunday morning brought breakfast in bed and then a massage at the amazing Balinese spa.
Vishnu and Sangeetha’s Private Gazebo Proposal was stunning! Vishnu was very thankful for a perfectly organised proposal and Sangeetha loved every second! Once again, our biggest congrats to the happy couple.
