KRONE COMPETITION
In celebration of launching our new website, we ran a competition with Krone MCC. Entrants had to like our Facebook and Instagram pages in order to qualify. The competition ran for two weeks and the winner was announced on Monday 12th November 2018.

Fun facts about Champagne and MCC:
- Champagne is very symbolic and known for being open at times of celebration. Champagne is not only popular for being seen as a status symbol, but it was also said to have profound effects on both men and women. Supposedly men would be wittier and women would be more beautiful.
- Champagne also has the visual aspect that is even more symbolic. The bottle, the colour of the liquid and the sound the cork makes. The overflowing of the contents. It is all signs of abundance and joy
- Méthode Cap Classique is a South African term which refers to the creation of bottle-fermented sparkling wines, by applying the French méthode champenoise. It’s a complex and time-consuming process, but the end result is a world-class bubbly.
- “Sabrage” is a term for opening a champagne bottle with an actual sword
