On the 21st March 2017, Mitesh asked Serena, the girl of his dreams, to marry him.
They got engaged on the public holiday and were lucky enough to have the beach all to themselves. The week leading up to this date, Durban had been experiencing some huge waves. So we were worried about a beach picnic that might be washed out… once again the weather calmed down and everything ran smoothly. It was a magical day for Mitesh and Serena who have been dating for 9 years. It was about time that he put a ring on it 🙂
Mitesh wanted to include the letters ‘S’ and ‘M’ in his proposal as they are meaningful and of course their initials. We ordered in giant silver foil balloons to fit the brief.
They both love the outdoors, so the chosen location was the coast. Mitesh wanted Serena to be surprised and wowed on the day. He described his perfect moment as overlooking the ocean with just the two of them. We set up a picnic on Ballito beach which included all her favourite items. A cheese board & chocolates were on the menu as we booked them into Zimbali for dinner after the proposal. The beach gets cold after the sun sets and he wanted to celebrate further in a romantic restaurant.
They arrived on the beach and Mitesh asked Serena to marry him, she said YES! We just love the colours that Chris, the photographer managed to capture! They both do not drink but we had a bottle of non-alcoholic bubbly to open in celebration.
Mitesh and Serena beach proposal in Ballito was stunning, we loved assisting this very happy couple. Wishing them all the best for the future.
