On the 16th October 2015 Rishi and Hamisha got engaged, it was a perfect mountain proposal.

Rishi and Hamisha are from Johannesburg and were coming down to spend the weekend in Cape Town. On this special surprise weekend Hamisha gained a fiance and a stunning diamond ring. They first met at a wedding, they said it was meant to be as they both attended the wedding last minute. They started chatting and realized they had many mutual friends. After the wedding they stayed in contact and never looked back… its been 4 years!

Rishi told us his definition of a perfect proposal would be the element of surprise. “Hamisha tends to pick up on the smallest of clues. She is very observing and getting her to Cape Town without her knowing what is in store for her on the day is the biggest challenge. Seeing her smile and of course saying YES if not ITS ABOUT TIME and a photographer to capture the moment as that’s what she’s always wanted”. He asked us to book the 12 Apostles Hotel as he thought it was the perfect location. They have always wanted to do a couples shoot here, so the idea was set.

The day arrived and Rishi tricked Hamisha that nothing was going on. They took off in the NAC helicopter and landed at the hotel. A member of staff showed them the way to the ” proposal spot”. As they approached Rishi got down on one knee and asked his beautiful girlfriend to marry him. We had placed some non-alcoholic bubbly on the table, with her favorite flowers. She said YES! She was even more excited when Lesley, the photograph came out to say hello. It was what she had always wanted… photo’s in a perfect setting. They enjoyed the couples shoot, as you can see from the photo’s is was a stunning day, sunshine and no wind. A perfect mountain proposal!

After the shoot they enjoyed a romantic couples treatment at the spa. They really relaxed and took in their surroundings. They celebrated the happy news all afternoon!
