Cape Town cellar proposal

On the 20th of July 2024, Earl and Lauren got engaged!

Known for its history and delicious wines, Webersburg Estate was the perfect location for this romantic event. It was in their cellar that Earl and Lauren’s story would take a transformative turn.

Earl and Lauren had been together for two years and shared many travels, movies, and a mutual love for wine tastings. On a crisp winter morning, with the vineyards painted in hues of gold and crimson, Earl planned a special outing for Lauren.

Upon arrival at Weberburg, they were greeted with the usual warmth and hospitality. Earl had told Lauren that he had arranged a private wine cellar tour, a special treat that added to the anticipation of the day. As they entered the cellar, they saw the setup.

We had set up her favorite flowers, candles, rose petals, and a sign, saying “Marry me”. He opened the ring box to reveal a stunning diamond ring, sparkling like the stars in the evening sky. Lauren was taken by complete surprise and cried out in joy, YES! Earl slipped the ring onto her finger, and they embraced, their hearts beating in unison. The wine cellar, with its timeless elegance and quiet charm, had become the backdrop for their forever.

They opened the MCC and celebrated this special occasion. .
