7 Koppies marriage proposal

On the 31st of March 2023, Allan and Georgia got engaged!

Allan contacted us to assist plan his perfect proposal. They were coming out on holiday from Dubai, where they reside. Originally from Ireland and the Uk, but working in Dubai and needed a break. They arrived in SA and went straight to the bush, where they had an amazing experience. They then traveled to Cape Town, where they were staying at 7 Koppies.

7 Koppies is a BEAUTIFUL boutique hotel in the heart of Franschhoek. Built on top of a hill, overlooking the mountain ranges, you can watch sunsets and moonsets all in the same place. They have a 25-meter swimming pool, where one can take a leisurely swim. There are a few options of rooms, the nicest one being the garden suite, which our lovely couple had booked. As they were from abroad, it is hard to plan something in secret for the big moment, thus we came in to assist.

Allan asked us to create a romantic picnic-style setup. He told us she loves pink, and natural colours and needs to be soft and feminine. They both love nature, thus he wanted to pop the question with the mountains in the background. Luckily for him, 7 Koppies has amazing views. We set up on the day amongst the fynbos, which are rich with beauty. He gave us the engagement ring to place on the spot, the Tiffany box can be seen the in the photos. We used lots of pink flowers, soft flowing ribbons, and textures.

They went out for lunch and on their return, he asked her to walk down the path, where we had placed lots of hearts. Georgia followed them down and arrived at the picnic spot. We incorporated her favourite things, such as strawberries, dark chocolates, and French bubbly. On arrival, Allan went down on one knee and popped the question, she said YES!

Jodi was there to capture this magical moment on film, followed by a couples shoot around the lodge. Thank you for the beautiful photos which we are so excited to share. After the excitement died down, they called their families to share the good news. Followed by a delicious dinner cooked by a private chef at the lodge.

Congratulations to the happy couple, we could not have asked for more beauty that surrounded us all that day. A 7 Koppies marriage proposal is a great idea and we will be returning soon!
