On the 15^th of August 2020, Keno and Kim got engaged, she said yes!

Our biggest congratulations to Keno and Kim on their beautiful treasure hunt proposal in a private garden venue in Johannesburg! Keno’s best friend, Davrin, first contacted us to help plan this amazing proposal for them. Davrin is a past client of The Perfect Proposal (see his proposal here) and he knew that we could assist with setting up a truly special proposal for Kim.

We knew the best private garden venue for the proposal – a venue that they would have exclusively. Dasreya told Kim that her work had a High Tea scheduled at the venue and that she was allowed to invite friends. Kim arrived (Dasreya told her that she was running late) and there was her first treasure hunt clue waiting for her with her name on it (and a big red heart balloon). The clue told her that it was time to take a trip down memory lane and then Keno would be waiting for her at the end.

She followed the clues and the balloons through the garden to arrive at the Rose Garden where an intimate picnic set up for two awaited her. There she saw a box with her name on it. She opened the box to page through the photo album of the two of them. The noise of the fountain meant that she didn’t hear Keno creep up and kneel behind her 😊 The last page of the photo album said “Will You Marry Me?” and Kim turned around to see Keno on one knee. She was so surprised that she hid her face in the photo album! It was a resounding “Yes!”.

They then enjoyed a delicious picnic box and a photoshoot around the gardens, before phoning all their friends and family with their happy news.

On the 18th July 2020, Darroll asked the love of his life to marry him, she said yes!

Their love story is magical, they have been dating for 10 years and met through a friend. It was time to pop the question and spend the rest of their lives together.

When Darroll contacted us, he was looking for amazing ideas for his marriage proposal. He loved the idea of playing games or a treasure hunt at a beautiful venue. The brief was to be creative and fun, maybe a puzzle to lead to the proposal. They both enjoy playing games thus he wanted to include this on the big day. His original idea was canceled due to COVID19 thus needed our expert advice and knowledge to assist.

We booked the honeymoon suite at Silvermist Mountain Lodge, this was our venue for the perfect proposal. We had a puzzle made up, so when it was put together it read: “will you marry me?”. We placed the puzzle pieces in little white boxes which were then put on the ground for her to collect along the way. The idea was on their arrival, she would gather and collect the boxes, go up the stairs to the balcony and put together the puzzle. Once the puzzle was done she would see the magic words, and he would propose.

Darroll had told Natheemah that she was off to a photoshoot so she needed to dress up and the photographer would meet them on arrival. This was a lovely addition to the idea as Lesley was then able to catch the whole proposal on film. We booked Lesley as we knew he would create a wonderful video as well as taking some photos.

Once Natheemah had put together the puzzle, Darroll asked her to be his bride and she said YES!

This proposal was the most elaborate and beautiful weekend ever planned. Neal is a romantic and wanted only the best for this girlfriend Natasha. She is actually the owner of a successful wedding website in Joburg called www.yesbabydaily.com this just added that extra pressure as she is also a  romantic at heart!

Neal contacted us to say he wanted an unforgettable proposal for Tash, something that they will remember forever! Their favorite town is Franschhoek so that was chosen as the place to propose. They share happy memories there as a couple.

A lots of planning from all sides was put in to make this proposal very special. It all started when Neal came up with a plan to tell Tash they were going to Cape Town for the weekend, as they were going to ‘Rocking the Daises music concert’. Tash thinking this was excited for the trip and didn’t actually know it was the BIG proposal weekend.

They flew into Cape Town, drove through to Franschhoek on arrival Tash had a lunch with her mum and sister. At lunch Tash received her first “box” that had a little love note from Neal and instructions on where to go next. After that the ladies then got pampered at La Franschhoek Spa (Tash obviously getting a manicure). The next box arrived and she headed to the room to find a large bunch of white roses & a little black dress with a love note attached. An old VW hippie van arrived to collect her and take her on a “treasure hunt” through Franschhoek town. Stopping off at places they had shared great memories!

Tash finally arrived at La Motte wine estate, Neal led her into the private “secret garden” where he proposed! She said YES! We did have some funny wind issues as Cape Town weather is unpredictable but all in all a happy moment! After taking some photo’s they enjoyed a romantic dinner for two to celebrate their engagement! It was not over yet…Neal spoiled Tash the whole weekend taking her all over Cape Town. A lovely Treasure hunt marriage proposal that will be remembered forever!
