When Keith first contacted us at The Perfect Proposal we knew we were in for a special proposal. Keith knew that he wanted to spoil Angie and, at the Oyster Box, that is an easy thing to do!

Keith got Angie to the Oyster Box spa under the pretences that she needed a treat and to relax while Keith, and their 1-year-old daughter Mia, were “going to Gateway for a while”. He told Angie to be ready at 16h00 to be picked up after her Chakra Balancing Massage. Meanwhile, Keith and Mia sneakily checked in to the Oyster Box for the night! Keith dressed baby Mia in a vest that said “Mommy will you marry Daddy?” and they made their way down to the wine cellar for the proposal. He had originally wanted to propose in the gazebo but unfortunately, the weather wasn’t on our side and so the gorgeous wine cellar, with its glass ceiling, was decorated with fairy lights, rose petals, candles and a ‘Marry Me’ sign.

Angie finished her massage and she began her treasure hunt which took her to multiple locations and to their room – where there was a dress waiting for her to put on and a makeup artist waiting to do her make up. We then knocked on her door once she was ready, to lead her to the wine cellar. Angie looked stunning in her new dress!

Once Angie walked down the stairs, she could see Keith on one knee and Mia ran towards her! She said YES! They then enjoyed a couple’s photoshoot, said goodbye to Mia as she was picked up by Granny and Grandpa, and then had a delicious, candlelit 4-course dinner in the wine cellar before heading back to their sea-facing room.

We wish them all the best!

Yatheen and Sanam got engaged on the 27^th October 2018 and it was the perfect proposal.

When Yatheen first contacted us he knew he wanted to do something really special for Sanam. They had just celebrated their 6^th anniversary together and he knew he wanted to surprise her with a proposal she would never forget! We had great fun coming up with this idea for Yatheen! Have a look at our ideas packages here.

On Saturday, they both arrived at the Oyster Box Spa to get manicures. Yatheen’s treatment finished just before Sanam’s and so he left the room and told her he would meet her in reception. But when Sanam finished up, he was nowhere to be seen and she got handed her first treasure hunt clue to find him 😊 Her hunt led her to the Library where there was a box of memories waiting for her. Each memory was in a numbered envelope with polaroid pictures we had printed. The last memory was directions to the gazebo where Yatheen was waiting on one knee.

We decorated the gazebo with fairy lights, wooden signs with love quotes, balloons, a Marry Me sign, her favourite flowers, rose petals and candelabras. It looked AMAZING and every passerby stopped to take pictures – we had to chase a few away as Sanam was about to arrive!

She was overwhelmed when she saw the gazebo and Yatheen! And she laughed the whole way down the path to reach him. It was so great to see two people so happy with other.

They then had a photoshoot together before enjoying a candlelit 4-course dinner in the gazebo for the evening.

It was an absolute pleasure working with Yatheen and we wish them all the best as they plan their wedding and lives together. Yatheen and Sanam incredible Oyster Box proposal will be remembered for a long time.
