On the 28th February 2021, this lovely got couple engaged. She said YES and SHE SAID YES!!

This proposal was meant to happen in January but due to COVID, we changed the date to February. We were planning it for a while and we changed things along the way as lockdown rules were in place. In the end, it all worked out perfectly and it was a great celebration between these two lovely ladies!

They have been together for 2 years and a couple of months, they love spending time together and being with family. Lyndsay wanted to include lots of family & friends in their big day, she thought it would be fun for them to hold a sign and be witnesses. We gave them “marry me” letters to hold up, they all stood (in the hot sun) for this lovely surprise. The weather that day was incredible, one of Cape Town’s hot summer days. We felt very bad making them stand in the sun, but the love for this couple, they would do anything!!

On the day the family arrived before them, holding the sign when the couple arrived. Lani (short for Yolandi) parked the car and walked around the corner for a BIG surprise! There were hugs and tears as the proposal happened. Lyndsay’s mum was keeping the ring safe and handed it over when asked. Sian, our lovely photographer captured the moment. The family enjoyed some snacks & drinks while the couple had photos taken. Afterward, they joined for a grand lunch to celebrate this happy occasion.

Lyndsay and Yolandi family proposal was lovely, we wish this couple all the best for the future.
