On the 9th March 2020, Tyler asked the girl of his dream to marry him, she said YES, of course.

This lovely couple come from Durban and have been together for seven years. They came to Cape Town for a romantic getaway.

Tyler contacted us with a brief of creating the most romantic, special and elegant proposal for the girl he loves dearly. We spoke about some ideas and decided on a helicopter flight to a wine farm followed by a lunch with amazing views. The chosen venue was Beau Constantia as it fitted the brief almost perfectly.

On the day, they flew in a helicopter to Groot Constantia as they can’t land at Beau Constantia. They landed on the grass field and made their way to the cellar for a wine tasting. Jilda, the secret photographer managed to capture the helicopter landing and then quickly make her way up the hill for the proposal.

We decorated the private box at Beau Constantia, we used white flowers with greenery and added in some personal items. The main focus was the glass ring box which we placed wooden letters inside to spell “marry me”. Another lovely idea was a GIN box that we put together as a gift for her. She could then take this home and enjoy more celebrations together.

The private car drove them up the hill and dropped them off at Beau Constantia. We greeted them and led this fabulous couple to the setup for the big moment. As they entered she saw the ring and sign, Tyler went on one knee and popped the question. She was SO surprised and shed some tears of happiness. It was a wonderful occasion to witness. A delicious gin was waiting for them as a welcome drink, LET the celebrations began!

Jilda took some photos, then they moved indoors to enjoy a delicious lunch by Chefs Warehouse. A wonderful venue which has incredible views of the Constantia Valley. The helicopter collected them for a return trip to the NAC offices.

Tyler and Teslyn marriage proposal was amazing, wishing them all the best for their future together.

On the 1^st October 2019, Tanaka asked Lerato to marry him.

As local Capetonians, Tanaka knew a lot of lovely venues and requested something luxurious close to Cape Town with beautiful views. His brief to us must include intimacy, privacy and be romantic. He wanted to keep it a HUGE surprise for her so that is our speciality.

They have been together for two magical years and met while studying at UCT. They love romantic dinners together and getting dressed up for any occasion. Her favourite sweets are Macaroons so they were included as dessert.

On the day, the couple arrived at the chosen venue – Beau Constantia. This is one of our favourite venues in the heart of the Constantia Valley. We decorated the room with white flowers to suit their chosen theme of black & white. We used a variety of white flowers that she loves best.

This fabulous couple were dressed for success and made their way to the private room. On arrival Tanaka dropped to one knee and asked the love of his life to marry him, she said YES! Sian our secret photographer captured it on film. We are in love with these beautiful photos!

After the photoshoot they enjoyed a fabulous dinner from Chefs Warehouse, this food is to die for!! They serve a 3-course menu with dessert to finish.

Tanaka and Lerato perfect engagement will be remembered for a long time. We hope they are still celebrating this wonderful occasion.

Abass came to us asking to plan the “most romantic proposal ever”. He wanted to spoil her and show how much he cares!! They had only been together a short while but as he says… “when you meet ‘the one’ time is really not an issue”. He says soon after they met, they have been inseparable. It’s a very sweet story <3

Abass wanted a venue that was not affected by weather, Beau Constantia was the chosen location. They have a stunning room which we transformed into a romantic space for the marriage proposal. We used lots and lots of red roses as this is her favourite flower. We ordered hundreds of rose petals which covered the floor. We even created a rose petal heart at the entrance <3 The room overlooks the Constantia Valley, we can not get enough of this view, it’s breathtaking.

On their arrival, Jilda the photographer was hiding to capture their special moment. They walked into the room with their favourite song playing: Kevin Garett – Little bit if you. Photos were hung up on the wall to remember happy memories. We used red roses and penny gum as flower deco. The room looked like a sea of red roses…

Abass got on one knee as they entered, he asked that important question, she said YES!! Fairuz was laughing and emotional, a very happy moment indeed. They had some photo’s taken on the wine farm and after this enjoyed a very romantic dinner by Chef’s warehouse.

Abass and Fairuz romantic marriage proposal was beautiful. We could see they are so in love, and can’t wait to spend the rest of their lives together! We wish them all the happiness in the world.

Craig approached us about 6 months before the date to plan his “perfect proposal” we love the way he was very organized and wanted it planned to perfection. His words…”I want my proposal to be a complete surprise; she must not suspect anything at all. I also want it to be something unique and something that would be unexpected and memorable for the rest of our lives.” The day should include wine tasting, the proposal at a wine farm and a photographer. The last idea was to place the ring in a treasure box that we found for them and an empty ring box would be open inside. When Clarissa opened the box, Craig would be on one knee behind her. The plan was set in motion and the venue finally chosen, Beau Constantia. We rented out a private room for them. They had a musician singing their favorite songs, a photographer capturing the moment and the treasure box on the table.

On the day, it was perfect weather and blue skies. They went in a private shuttle and toured the Constantia wine farms. Their last stop was the proposal venue, Beau Constantia. The views from Beau Constantia are incredible so the idea was to have a romantic dinner for two after the proposal. They stayed all night drinking Moet and admiring the views. Clarissa said YES of course, it was a stunning ‘treasure box’ proposal.

Clarissa loves all the girly things in the world, such as shopping, fashion, make-up and nails. As a gift we got a manicure and nail polish from Craig. A lovely added surprise for her to show off that diamond ring.

We wish them the best of luck for a happy future together. We loved making their perfect treasure box proposal come true!
