They first met when studying dentistry together in Pretoria but now live in Cape Town.

They were blessed with the most amazing weather on the day of their proposal. A hot, sunny, cloudless day which suited this happy couple. We booked a picnic at Cascade Manor in Paarl. JC wanted a secluded spot in the wine lands which had great views, Cascade manor was the ideal spot. JC being such a romantic wanted Jen to be spoilt and get a huge surprise!

On the day they arrived JC had booked a photographer as they had a voucher for a couples shoot. She was told to stand at the waterfall to capture the moment, which she did. We decorated the area with pink barberton daisies as its Jen’s favorite flower.  We brought in a box of her favorite chocolates. On arrival Jen’s reaction was priceless, she was so happy and there were tears of joy. She said YES!

We received this LOVELY message from Jen after the proposal:

“My better half worked with Pippa Lund at The Perfect Proposal for a good couple of months (in secret) to plan what I now know as the best day of my life thus far. Many emails were exchanged to plan this moment down to the very last detail. Thank you, Pippa,  for all the effort and energy you put into this moment.

From the very start having Pippa on our side was an absolute lifesaver. She immediately understood what we wanted in terms of the style and tone of the wedding. She patiently talked us through the options and made some great suggestions along the way. Pippa saved us a huge amount of time and money (all without compromising quality) by using here experience and connecting us to her network of providers, all of whom where professional and a pleasure to deal with.

Pippa’s preparation for our big day was flawless. We had immediately felt comfortable with her managing, not only the day, but much of the logistics for the +80 guests we had attending, with the majority coming from overseas. Pippa’s competence made it easy for us to trust her, and being able to handover the 1000’s of small details was fantastic.

On the day itself Pippa was there from the start, making sure everything ran smoothly, leaving us to enjoy the day without stress. Knowing she was there and because she’s so on it, my wife and I relaxed completely and we wouldn’t have changed a single element of the day. Largely due to Pippa’s involvement.
